- Dr. Jency Blesson, Asst Professor, Dept.of Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering presented a paper based on her research in “5th World Congress on Bioavailabity and Bioequivalence” Pharmaceutical R&D Summit during Sep 29 – Oct 0 1, 2014 at Baltimore, USA on the topic “Synergism of antibiotics and plant extracts in Antibacterial Activity against Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus ”.
- Dr. Seema Nair P, Former HOD, Dept.of Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering was awarded a travel grant by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, to present a paper on “ Multifunctional Intestinal Probiotic Lactobacillus Rhamnosus for Human Health” in the International conference and Exhibition on PROBIOTICS held from 19th -21st Nov 2012 in San Antonio, Texas, USA. She also co-chaired one of the scientific sessions in the conference. The conference had participants from 44 countries presenting technical papers and posters in the area of probiotics.
