Department of Electronics and Communication, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Pattoor, Alappuzha,Kerala organized an Online National Conference “REVOLUTIONIZE ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES” on 23th and 24th June 2022. The conference was inaugurated by Dr.Samson Mathew,Director,KSCSTE-NATPAC. The keynote speaker was Dr.Sreeni K.G. ,Associate Professor, Rajiv Gandhi institute of Technology,Kottayam.The panel evaluation committee members were Dr Sreeni K.G.,Professor Sangeetha T.R. and Professor Reeni Sara Thomas The conference provided amble opportunity for UG and PG scholars to exchange and share their ideas, experiences, and research results on various aspects of Electronics & Communication Engineering which include Smart Embedded System using IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics ,Image Processing using Machine learning and Deep learning, Low Power VLSI Design and Signal Processing. There were more than 20 participants from. Best paper award was given to Shemin Mary Simon, M.Tech Scholar, Sree Buddha College Of Engineering,Pattoor for her paper titled “ANALYSIS OF REAL TIME OBJECT DETECTION IN ADVERSE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES”. The conference was winded up with valedictory session.

Associate Professor, College of Engineering,Trivandrum.The conference provided amble opportunity for UG and PG scholars to exchange and share their ideas, experiences, and research results on various aspects of Electronics & Communication Engineering which include Smart Embedded System using IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics ,Image Processing using Machine learning and Deep learning, Low Power VLSI Design and Signal Processing. There were more than 30 participants from different engineering colleges inside and outside Kerala. Best paper award was given to Vaishak N Thrilok,B.Tech Scholar,Presidency College Bangalore for his paper titled Green house gases emission monitoring.The conference was winded up with valedictory session

Two day National Conclave on ‘Accreditation & Bench marking’

Two day National Conclave on ‘Accreditation & Bench marking’ conducted on 21 & 22 December 2018 at Sree Buddha College of Engineering was concluded sucessfully. The conclave was attended by external participants along with the selected faculty members of Sree Buddha College of Engineering. This programme was aimed to familiarize with the Quality enhancement in Engineering Education.

2^ND ANNUAL CONFERENCE SERIES ON “ENGINEERING EDUCATION FOR FACING THE FUTURE (E2F2 2018)”   ON 17^TH APRIL 2018

The inaugural function of the events organized under the 2^nd Annual Conference Series on “Engineering Education for Facing the Future (E2F2 2018)” was held at 10 AM on 17^th April 2018 in the Main Auditorium in the Central Library Building of the Sree Buddha College of Engineering (SBCE), Pattoor, Alappuzha. Registration counters for the delegates were open from 8.30 AM in the Front Office area of the Administrative Block. Prof.K. Sasikumar, Chairman, Sree Buddha Group of institutions presided over the inaugural function. The program started with the prayer song by the college choir. Dr.R. Gopakumar, Organizing Secretary of E2F2 2018 warmly welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering to the function. Dr. S. Suresh Babu, Conference Chair (E2F2 2018) and Principal, SBCE presented the Conference Rationale. In his speech, he expressed the hope that the E2F2 conference will serve as an effective  platform for the faculty members, researchers and students to discuss their innovative research ideas.

The conferences under the E2F2 2018 series are inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Padmashree Dr.G. Shankar, Founder Chairman &Chief Architect, Habitat Technology Group.In the inaugural address, he advised the teachers of engineering colleges to impart basic knowledge to the students in various subjects together with their practical applications, so that, the students get more interested in those subjects. Shri.K.K. Sivadasan, Treasurer, Sree Buddha Educational society offered felicitations and wished all the conferences to be successful. Dr. M. S. Senthil Saravanan delivered the vote of thanks.

The focus of the keynote address by Padma Shree  Dr.G. Shankar was on all aspects of needs of the society – stressing on sustainability – from drinking water to clothing to shelters, pavements, apartments and infrastructure development. The necessity and importance of water conservation through recycling and water management through rain water harvesting and efficient use of water was highlighted with ease with his wide and rich experience. He was also critical in the usage of materials of construction which are not sustainable, and logically explained the necessity of using locally available materials like mud, bamboo and the like.  He was eloquent about the rich engineering qualities of Bamboo as a building material and stressed upon the need for further studies in bamboo structures.

Two day National Conference E2F2(Engineering Education for Facing the Future) 2017

Our college has conducted a 2 day National Conference on Eco friendly Technological innovations for sustainable developments under the conference titles E2F2(Engineering Education for Facing the Future) from6-7 April 2017. The conference was conducted jointly by all the departments of the college and around 130 papers were presented and 12 papers were selected for awards. The conference was inaugurated by K Balakrishnan Nair, General Manager (Operations) ALIND switchgear Ltd.
