IIT Bombay along with the ministry of Human Resource Development has developed Aakash tablets for educational purposes.The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of SBCE is a partner with IIT Bombay to develop new educational applications on Aakash. Aakash 2.0 includes 3D modelling,C ++ programming,remote and collaborative training applications,robotic control and live assessment tools.IIT Bombay has partnered with the Centre for Development Advanced Computing (CDAC) to provide the hardware testing and services
