Alumni Association, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Conducted an alumni meet for the year 2024.
Alumnus who is working in different organization attended the meet with high enthusiasm. Secretary, Alumni Association, Ms Rincy Susan Raju welcomed all the dignitaries. The meeting was presided by Dr. K Krishnakumar, Principal, Sree Buddha College of Engineering and officially inaugurated by our Secretary, Sree Buddha Educational Society, Prof. V Prasad .Sri K. Sunil Kumar, Treasurer, Sree Buddha Educational Society felicitated the meeting and Sri Vishnu VS, Alumni member delivered the vote of thanks.
After the official inauguration, Alumni interactions were carried out. Alumni from different batches interacted with the audience and shared their experiences, followed by the cultural events led by the students of different semesters. All the programs performed revitalized the audiences and they appreciated the talents of students. It was followed by a delicious lunch and meeting ended by 1.30pm with greater expectations for the next year.

Alumni Association
Department of Electrical and Electronics, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, organized the second Online Alumni Meet on Saturday 23rd July 2022 at 8.00 pm. The online alumni meet was conducted through Google Meet Platform. Mrs. Gayathri Vijayachandran , Assistant Professor, EEE Department & Department Alumni coordinator welcomed the gathering. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Vinod V P, HoD, EEE Department. The session was concluded by Vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Ananthu Vijayakumar, Assistant professor of EEE Department
The programme included an interactive session with Alumni and Staffs of EEE Department including a video streaming for rewinding memories. Around 73 students of various passed out batches (2008-2021) attended the function. The active participation of alumni made the event not only joyous and memorable one but also nostalgic. The students shared their memories, valuable suggestions for future alumni meets & feedback about the session. An online feedback was also collected. The virtual meet ended at 9.20 pm.
Report on SANGAMAM 2018 (ALUMNI MEET 2018)
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering had organized an alumni meeting “Sangamam 2018” for all batches (2006 – 2018) on 1st December 2018 at the Seminar Hall, CS block. The meeting started at 10.00 a.m. with a prayer. Dr S.V.Annlin Jeba, HOD, Department of CSE welcomed the gathering. Presidential address was delivered by Dr S. Suresh Babu, Principal, SBCE. The meeting was inaugurated by Sri. K K Sivadasan, Treasurer, Sree Buddha Educational Society. 46 alumni from all batches and teachers who had worked here are participated in the function. Students and staff shared the memories, most of them volunteered to render services for the benefit of the current students of SBCE
Department of Electrical and Electronics, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, organized an Alumni Meet 2018 on 29 December 2018 at Electrical seminar hall.Ms. Gayathri Vijayachandran, Assistant professor of EEE Department welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Prof. Vinod V P, HOD of EEE Department. Dr. Saji Varghese, HOD of Mechanical Engineering Department was the chief guest of the event and he inaugurated the Function and also gave a talk on “The Importance of Alumni Meet”. Prof. Thomas Mathew, Head of Human Resource Department felicitated the gathering. The inaugural session was concluded by Vote of thanks delivered by Department Alumni association faculty in charge Asst. Prof. Ananthu Vijayakumar.
During the meeting, an alumni representative was elected from the students for further annual meets. The programme also included an interactive session with Students of various Passed out Batches and Staffs of EEE Department. Around 40 students of various Passed out batches attended the function. The students also shared their memories during the meet. Various Heads of departments, faculty members and non-teaching staff of EEE Department attended the function.

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an Alumni Meet on 22nd December 2018. The meeting started at 10 am in the Ashoka Auditorium. Dr. Saji Varghese, Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomed the audience. The keynote address was given by Dr. S. Suresh Babu, Principal, SBCE. Prof. Anilkumar A V, Prof. Thomas Mathew, Prof. Vishnu V S delivered felicitation. Alumni shared their experiences during and after their campus life. Alumni survey was conducted during the meeting. Prof. Amjith T R delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was concluded with a delicious lunch.
The Alumni Meet 2018 organised by the Department of Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering, SBCE Pattoor was conducted on 20th October 2018.20 Alumni from various batches from 2005 to 2013 were present for this meet. This meet was organised to give information about the current NBA accreditation process and important role of alumni in the accreditation process.
Some of the students from our department also attended the function. After the inaugural session, alumni’s shared their nostalgic thoughts. Alumni coordinator distributed the Alumni feedback form which included feedback on curriculum and on the infrastructural facilities provided by the institute and collected their opinions through filled Alumni feedback form. Alumni attended the meet shared their experiences with the students who are perusing the education in our college. Alumni shared their thoughts and guided regarding opportunities and scope in biotech-industries.
Vision & Mission of the department and importance of the PEO’s & PO’s were explained to the Alumni. All the Faculty members were involved in a discussion of the various academic Programs and activities with the alumni. The program came to an end by 1.30 PM. Simultaneously lunch was provided to all the alumni and their family members. In general, the alumni were given good feedback about hospitality and food.

Third Alumni meet conducted by the department was inaugurated by Mr. K K Sivadasan, Treasurer, SBCE. The meet was presided by Dr. E K Bhass, PG Dean, Civil Dept and Dr. GouriAntherjanam, HoD, Civil Department, felicitated the meeting. Ms. Sreelekshmi S, Asst. Professor, Civil Department, welcomed the gathering. A total of 24 alumni were present for the function.
Sri K K Sivadasan stressed the importance of alumni meeting and he requested the gathering to strengthen and continue meeting every year. Dr. E K Bhass, gave an inspiring speech and advice them to soar great heights and make SBCE proud.Dr. GouriAntherjanam presented the ongoing activities and status of the department. Mr. Ashok Mathew, Asst. Professor, Civil Department gave a presentation on NBA activities and made the alumni aware of the Vision, Mission and PEOs of the department.
Gathering decided to create a ‘WHATSAPP’ group named ‘CE Alumni Association SBCE’ for the Alumni association of Civil Department and to accommodate the group with Alumni Association office bearers and four members from each batch (2boys and 2 girls). Then 22nd December of every year was fixed as Alumni day for Civil Department.
Ms. NamithaChandran, Asst. Professor, Civil Department delivered Vote of Thanks and the meeting was dispersed for the lunch.
