Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be of Indian Nationality.

Interested applicants should have completed his/her graduation from an institution affiliated by AICTE / Deemed Universities in India with a minimum of 60% percentage marks in the qualifying exam (B. Tech). However, SC/ ST candidates have only to pass their respective B. Tech degrees. For SEBC (OBC) candidates, a minimum requirement of 54% marks in percentage in their B. Tech degree is compulsory.

Candidates who have qualified for AMIE / AMIETE exams and satisfy the following conditions will be eligible for admission

A minimum of 55% marks is required for section B in AMIE/AMIETE entrance exam.

Candidates appearing for the final semester exam are also eligible to apply, but they must have to pass all the subjects up to including the 6th-semester exams (8th semester for B. Arch candidates). However, the confirmation of admission of any candidates will be subject to the production of their qualifying degree -before the date stipulated by the affiliated University.

Candidates with valid GATE score are eligible for AICTE monthly stipend.

Selection
Selection will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the entrance test and marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Candidates with valid GATE score will be preferred.
Reservations as per rules and regulations will be complied with.
SC/ST candidates will have relaxations as per rules.
Sponsored candidates having more than 2 years of experience will be given extra weightage.

They will have to produce a sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format from the Head of the Institution where the candidate is employed.

Documents/Certificates to be submitted at the time of admission:

SSLC / equivalent certificate to prove date of birth
Mark list of B. Tech./B.E degree examination(for all the semesters)
Original/Provisional Degree Certificate
Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
Course and Conduct certificate from the institution last studied
Migration certificate, in case of candidates other than APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
Eligibility certificate is essential in the case of candidates other than APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
GATE score card original (for candidates with valid GATE score)
Four passport size photographs
In cases where the candidates claim any sort of reservation or special consideration, documents to prove such claims
Copy of relevant page containing the candidate’s name in the rank list published by DTE
