Prof. Vijayan K
Prof. Vijayan Krishnan received his B.Sc degree in Mathematics from Sree Narayana College, Kollam (University of Kerala) in 1980. He secured M.Sc degree in Mathematics from PSMO College, Thirurangadi (Calicut University) in 1982 and M.Phil from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 1992 where he was the fourth rank holder. He has 29 years of teaching experience in three Sree Narayana Colleges across the state. He started his teaching career as a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Sree Narayana College, Kollam in 1985. In 2013, he retired as the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Sree Narayana College, Sivagiri, Varkala after serving in that position for 8 years. He joined Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Pattoor on 19th June 2013. His areas of interest include spectral theory, ring theory, fluid mechanics, real analysis, complex analysis and graph theory.
