SAEINDIA SBCE Collegiate Club
Department of Mechanical Engineering and SAEINDIA conducted a lecture on 30th March 2023. The topic was on ‘Electric Vehicle Prototyping’. Mr A Armstrong, Principal Member R&D TAFE Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, Chennai gave the expert lecture.The official inauguration of ‘Go-Kart Club’ was also done by Mr. A Armstrong, on the same day itself.
The Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAEINDIA) Sree Buddha Collegiate club and the Knowledge Round Table (KRT) club was inaugurated on 11th November 2017 by Shri B Srinivasan (General Manager, R&D, UCAL fuel systems) and Dr. E. Rajasekar (Secretary, SAEINDIA, Southern section). These clubs are functioning actively with Dr. Sreejith Mohan, Associate Professor, as the Senior faculty advisor and Prof. Vaisakh Y, Assistant Professor, as the Co faculty Advisor of the SAEINDIA SBCE Collegiate club and Prof. Vaisakh P.S, Assistant Professor as the faculty advisor of the KRT club.
Student Convention 2018
Every year SAEINDIA Southern Section Conducts Student Convention. As a part of Student Convention 2018, Tier -1 Competitions were conducted by SAEINIDA Sree Buddha collegiate club. Out of the 35 competitions proposed by SAEISS, 10 were conducted at our college. The students who bagged the first and second positions were subsequently enrolled for Tier -2 events held at Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam. The winners of Tier-2 participated in the Tier-3 competitions organized at MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.
