ETA INAGURATION 2023-2024
The inaugural ceremony of ETA, Electronics Technocrats Association for the year 2023-2024 was held on 17th October 2023 . The inaugural address was delivered by the honorable chief guest Mr. Sajeev K M (DYSP Rtd). An expert talk on “Developing career goals: How to set and achieve them” was delivered by chief guest. Also congratulates all the toppers in the university exams.

ELECTRONIC TECHNOCRATS ASSOCIATION (ETA)

The inaugural ceremony of ETA, Electronics Technocrats Association for the year 2022-2023 was held on 19th November 2022. The meeting began with the presidential address by the Head of the Department of ECE Ms. Pavitha P P. The inaugural address was delivered by the honorable chief guest Mr. SHAIK HASSAN KHAN, Everester and social change maker. The gathering was then addressed by ETA Coordinator Mrs Saritha N R, ETA student members Akhil Jayan and Surya Prasad. The inauguration was followed by a “motivational talk” by Mr Shaik Hassan Khan. Events like Technical quiz competition and Cultural activities by students were conducted after the inauguration ceremony

ETA is the association of the Electronic & Communication students of Sree Buddha college of Engineering. The association aims at improving the technical skills of the students by organizing and conducting different workshops and technical competitions.


INAUGURATION OF ETA (ELECTRONICS TECHNOCRATS ASSOCIATION) ACTIVITIES OF 2020-21
ON 16-12-2020

ETA (Electronics Technocrats Association) an association of department of electronics and communication started in the year 2003, is a platform for the students to showcase their technical and non technical skills.Activities for the academic year 2020-21 was inaugurated by Mr. Karthik Kesav.,
Co-Founder of Pragmatix learning Edutech Pvt. Ltd. on 16-12-2020, presided by Dr.S.SureshBabu, Principal SBCE. The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Prof. Pavitha P P (HoD ,ECE), Prof. Saritha N R (association coordinator, ECE). Heads of various departments, Professors, faculty and students of department of Electronics and Communication also attended the function.After the inauguration, Student’s activities such as Idea pitching, Technical Games, Group Song, Fusion Dance, Mashup was conducted.

SHASTRA ’19 PROJECT COMPETITION
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering,Sree Buddha College of Engineering organized‘Shastra’19’ in association with ETA (Electronics Technocrats Association) and IEDC of SBCE on 15th October 2019 marking the 88th birth anniversary of APJ Abdul Kalam. Shastra was a project competition for the higher secondary students intended to disseminate the knowledge of science and technology. The curtain of the event was raised with the inauguration on 15th October at 10:30am by K.K.Sivadasan, Treasurer of Sree Buddha Educational Society.The members on the Dias for the inauguration were the chief guest Aneesh S, Dr S Suresh Babu, Principal of Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Prof.Pavitha P.P., Head of Department of Electronics and Communication.Shastra was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of lamp by all the members on the Dias.

Morning session
In the preliminary round a total of 40 teams across Pandalam,Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta districts participated for the event. After the preliminary round, eight teams were shortlisted. At 11:15am,as first part of evaluation a presentation was scheduled for all the teams. The judges for the event were Aneesh S, Chief Guest, Sabi S Assistant Professor of ECE department and Staff coordinator of Shastra, Alex V Assistant Professor of ECE department

Afternoon session
The second evaluation was on working models (prototype display) which was at 1:30p.m in the laboratory of department of Electronics and Communication. Various projects such as malaria monitoring sytem, solar powered robot were exhibited.Gowardhan B.K of KendriyaVidhyalaya bagged first prize for electronic stamping machine. While the second prize was bagged by team from Cherupushpa HSS, Chunakkara, the third prize for best idea was awarded to team from NSS HSS Pandalam. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony by the Principal of SBCE.


INAUGURATION OF ETA (ELECTRONICS TECHNOCRATS ASSOCIATION) ACTIVITIES OF 2018-19 ON 12-10-2018 AT THE CONFERENCE HALL, LIBRARY BLOCK

ETA (Electronics Technocrats Association) an association of department of electronics and communication started in the year 2003, is a platform for the students to showcase their technical and non technical skils.every year ETA organizes various technical and cultural events . Activities for the academic year 2018-19 was inaugurated by Mr.Arun A.T., Sub Divisional Engineer ,BSNL on 12-10-2018 at the conference hall, library block,presided by Dr.S.Suresh Babu,Principal SBCE. The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Prof.Pavitha P P(HoD ,ECE), Prof. Saritha N R (association coordinator, ECE). Heads of various departments, Professors, faculty and students of department of Electronics and Communication also attended the function. In the meeting P Anisha student of 7th semester ECE was appreciated for achieving the state level NSS best volunteer award. After the inauguration, a technical talk on “modern trends in mobile communication” was delivered by the chief guest. Mr. Justy John, student of 5th semester ECE demonstrated the low cost 3D printer designed and developed by himself
In the after noon session ETA conducted an idea pitching competition “PITCH PERFECT” and teams from various departments participated.

KANOPUS’18 EXPO

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with ETA (Electronics Technocrats Association) conducted a Technical exhibition, KANOPUS’18 on 29th January, 2018. Kanopus ’18 was organised with the key objective to exhibit the technical skills of the students by providing a platform to encourage innovative ideas and practical knowledge. The exhibition was aimed for higher secondary school students, to get an exposure about the Engineering field especially Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The exhibition was conducted at the ECE block and was inaugurated by Prof. K Sasikumar, Chairman of Sree Buddha College of Engineering. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Sri. K K Sivadasan, Treasurer of SBCE, Dr. S Suresh Babu, Principal of SBCE, and Prof. Ambika Sekhar, HoD of ECE Dept. The HoD’s of other department, faculty members and students also attended the inaugural ceremony.
