MOMENT
The association of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, MOMENT (Majestic Organization of Mechanical Engineering Technocrats) was formulated in the year 2006. The association has an executive committee comprising of a faculty member and student representatives. The association organizes various technical events as well as social welfare activities.
MECH FEST – 2k18-19
The Mechanical Engineering Department of Sree Buddha College of Engineering conducted a technical Expo named MECH-FEST-2k19 on27 and 28 November 2018. The Programme highlighted the technical proficiency of the students of Mechanical Department. The fest was inaugurated by Mr. Anand Chandran, who is aviation engineer. Dr. Saji Varghese, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering. The inaugural function was presided over by Dr. S. Suresh Babu, Principal, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Shri. K. K. Sivadasan, Treasurer, Sree Buddha Educational Society, Prof. Amjith T R, Coordinator, MOMENT delivered the felicitation. Mr. Abel Ninan Thomas, Student Secretary, MOMENT delivered the vote of thanks.

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Sree Buddha College of Engineering conducted a technical Expo named MECH-FEST-2k18 on 1st March 2018 which evoked an attractive participation of students from schools and colleges. The fest was inaugurated by Mr. Saji Thomas, who is a self developed engineer overcame his limitation of deafness and muteness and built an aircraft with only fourteen lakh Indian Rupees. Prof. Anilkumar A.V, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomed the gathering. The inaugural function was presided over by Dr. S. Suresh Babu, Principal, Sree Buddha College of Engineering, Shri. K. K. Sivadasan, Treasurer, Sree Buddha Educational Society, delivered the felicitation.
