Ms. Meera Bai S 

Ms. Meera Bai S  took her BTech degree in Chemical Engineering from TKM College of Engineering  Kollam, under the University of Kerala in 1990, with fourth rank. She completed MTech in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Kerala in 2012 and currently she is doing Ph.D in Biotechnology. She also took Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from IGNOU. She has published 8 papers in different journals and conferences.

She has 14 years of teaching experience, 6 years of industrial experience and 9 years of project consultancy experience. She did her apprenticeship in Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, Cochin Division, worked as an Engineer Executive in MAS Combustible Pack Ltd. Palakkad, guest lecturer in the Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology, University College of Engg, Thodupuzha, and as district coordinator,  Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Project.

She joined Sree Buddha College of Engineering in July 2007 and is currently the head of the Department of Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering/Food Technology. She is a lifetime member of IIChE.
